Frequently asked questions by record users
Authorisation request
I would like to play a soundtrack during a live performance. How do I do that ?
If you are playing live music during the show, you don’t need to get permission or send us a declaration form.
However, you will need to get authorisation and send us a declaration form if you want to play a recorded soundtrack during a live performance.
Just contact our Exclusive Right service to do this at: droit-exclusif@spedidam.fr
I have already gotten authorisation from SACEM and/or SACD. Isn't that enough ?
No, it is not enough because that only covers authors.
In order to comply with Article L. 212-3 of the French Intellectual Property Code, you must request authorisation from us to broadcast the recordings at: droit-exclusif@spedidam.fr
