Equitable remuneration is collected by SPRE (Société Civile pour la Perception de la Rémunération Équitable) on behalf of performers and commercial phonogram producers. 

This remuneration is divided equally between performers and commercial phonogram producers. Remuneration owing to the “performers” category is allocated as follows: 50% to Spedidam and 50% to Adami. 

Distribution to rightholders is based in particular on broadcast records provided by radio stations, broadcast lists from a sample of discotheques, and surveys of other music broadcasters.
